On 26 September, Pharmacists’ Day is celebrated – a date associated with the feast of the patrons of pharmacists – Cosmas and Damian, medics from the 4th century AD. The celebration did not go unnoticed by the Prof. Jan Muszyński Museum of Pharmacy, which hosted representatives of the Regional Pharmaceutical Council in Łódź and the Łódź Faculty of Pharmacy, as well as members of the Catholic Pharmacists Association. In addition to a tour of the Museum, participants listened to a lecture by the facility’s Director, Dr Łukasz Pigoński, entitled ‘In the Footsteps of Cosmas and Damian – Medical Art and Pharmacy in Late Antiquity’.
