Concert by the Siberian Exiles Choir

For years, the Museum has hosted the Siberian Exiles Choir within its walls before Christmas. This year, too, participants listened to a concert of carols.

The programme included carols written during the exile far from home. Despite the ban by the authorities, the songs were performed in private homes, allowing the Poles deported to Kazakhstan or Siberia in 1940-1942 to feel, at least for a moment, like in their beloved homeland. The choir’s conductor is Swietłana Niewiadomska.
